How Highland Adventures works
Plain terms so you know exactly what we do and do not do before you share a single detail.
We plan complete trips
Highland Adventures is a tour broker. We plan and coordinate complete Peru trips built around the right Machu Picchu access for your dates, party, and preferences: routing, hotels, transfers, guiding, and the entries your itinerary needs.
We do not sell standalone tickets
We do not sell Machu Picchu entry tickets, Inca Trail permits, or train tickets on their own. If a standalone ticket is all you need, we point you to the official channels rather than selling you something you can buy directly.
Official purchases go through official channels
Machu Picchu entries are sold by the Peruvian Ministry of Culture on its official platform, and Inca Trail permits are purchased by licensed operators. When your trip includes these, they are arranged through those official government channels and authorized operators, never a back door.
Availability and rules can change
Ticket rules, circuit assignments, permit quotas, and closures are set by Peruvian authorities and change, sometimes with little notice. We track the current published rules and stamp every factual claim with the date we verified it, but we cannot promise availability or control government decisions.
The benefit is independent planning and quality control
What you pay us for is judgment and coordination: choosing the right circuit and dates before hunting tickets, arranging access through licensed channels, vetting the operators and hotels, and keeping the whole trip running so nothing falls between the pieces. That independent planning and quality-control layer is the point.
